Fibaro Single Switch for Apple – Homekit

Description

The FIBARO Single Switch is designed to be operated via HomeKit technology (using Bluetooth® low energy) to receive a control signal from a local Apple TV or Homepod etc. – It can be operated using an IOS or Mac device running the Home App.

It is designed to replace a light switch and is effectively a relay which enables a 240v power supply to be switched from the Home App.

As with any other device controlled from the IOS Home App, the Fibaro Switch can be set to operate automatically – utilising time based triggers, also trigger signals from other compatible devices such as a motion detector, to create an automation routine.

The advent of the IFTTT technology deployed along side the Home App on compatible devices – adds an additional dimension to the scope of control signal sources and trigger signals can be created from weather reports, air quality and water level sensors to name but a few. The potential is limitless.
